Third world countries such as are found in Southern Africa are plagued by a high percentage of unemployment, lack of education and diseases such as AIDS. By providing an individual with a job and an opportunity to earn his/her own money one can equip him/her with a higher sense of pride and self-worth.

Africaworks is a dream come true for the South African born Nadine Cedrone. Whilst growing up she observed the talented artists and their beautiful works. She realised that the local market was limited and that the artist does not have the possibility to present himself on the International Market.

Nadine carefully selects and takes up direct contact with the artists. She insists that the artist is always paid the asked-for price and that the money goes directly to the artist. Where possible the artist is encouraged to employ more individuals from the community. It is an aim to assist the development of a country by supporting and promoting artists so that they can manage their own financially viable business.

The products and services are of the highest quality and adhere to good environmental standards. They mirror the creativity and authenticity of the Southern African people.
